"Incidents of plane crashes have tarnished country's tourism image"

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 8: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has stated that the frequent incidents of plane and helicopter crashes highlight the unsafe conditions of Nepal's airspace.
The government plans to address these issues systematically by identifying the root causes of aviation accidents. During a news conference on Thursday, where the cabinet meeting's decisions were shared, Gurung, the government's spokesperson and Communications and Information Technology Minister, emphasized this commitment.
Minister Gurung also noted that the frequent mishaps in the aviation industry have negatively impacted the country's tourism sector and warned of the damage to Nepal's international reputation caused by such incidents.
