Unilever Nepal's net profit up by 8 percent

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 12: Unilever Nepal Limited has reported a net profit of over Rs 1.97 billion for the last fiscal year. This represents a 7.63% increase compared to the previous year when the net profit stood at Rs 1.83 billion.
However, the company's total revenue decreased by 2.23% during the review period. Despite this decline, the company experienced a modest increase in net profit due to a 5.80% reduction in expenses. The company’s total revenue was Rs 8.48 billion, with total expenses recorded at Rs 6.06 billion.
Currently, the company's paid-up capital stands at Rs 92.1 million, while the return on earnings is Rs 4.77 billion. The annual earnings per share (EPS) amounts to Rs 2,143.54, and the net worth per share is Rs 5,285.
