MAW Group unveils Dongfeng Nammi EV

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 25: MAW Group, a leading name in Nepal’s automobile industry, has launched the Dongfeng Nammi, an electric vehicle (EV) hatchback that aims to set new benchmarks in luxury, innovation, and sustainability. The unveiling took place at a recent fashion event in the capital, aligning with the Nammi's theme, "The Big Hatch with Five-Star Luxury."
The Dongfeng Nammi stands out with its spacious design, advanced technology, and luxurious features, including segment-first offerings like welcoming seats, frameless doors, and a state-of-the-art Intelligent AC System, the company claims. Available in three variants—Nammi E1, E2, and E3—the vehicle also boasts impressive safety features, such as Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a 5-star C-NCAP safety rating.
Powered by a 70 kW PMSM, the Nammi offers two battery options, providing ranges up to 430 km. The vehicle is available in seven colours, with prices starting at 29.99 lakh rupees.
Dongfeng Motors, one of China's "Big Four" automobile manufacturers, marks its growing presence in Nepal with this launch, further expanding its global footprint.
