Ncell clarifies position on ISP acquisitions

KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 22 : Ncell has described the claims that it has already acquired shares of an Internet Service Provider (ISP) as premature and speculative.
Stating that some media outlets are making such claims, the company urged them to verify the facts before publication. According to the private telco, it is currently only exploring opportunities in the ISP market and will provide updates or information at the appropriate time.
'Any steps taken by us to acquire shares of an ISP will be in the best interest of Nepal, our customers, and our stakeholders,' stated a press release issued by Ncell yesterday."
