SC to remain open for four hours during Dashain holidays

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 3 : Hearing on writ petitions of habeas corpus will be conducted for four hours from 11:00 am, even during the Dashain festival holiday.
The Supreme Court (SC) will remain open for hearing such petitions during Dashain holidays, except on the day of Ghatasthapana (October 3), Saturdays, and the day of Vijaya Dashami.
Although the Supreme Court is officially closed from Ghatasthapana to Kojagrat Purnima for the Dashain festival, hearings on habeas corpus cases will still be conducted.
