iPhone 16 series now available in Nepal

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 9 : The iPhone 16 series has officially launched in the Nepali market. Gen Next, the official distributor of the brand for the country, did so.
The said series includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 stands out for its unique features compared to other smartphones, with its most notable upgrade being its advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.
According to Apple, the new AI system will support text, image, and video processing, enhancing overall productivity and making Siri more powerful. However, this Apple Intelligence feature will only roll out in a few months and will initially be available in select countries in a beta version.
The iPhone 16 series also introduces a dedicated side panel button for camera action control. This button allows users to quickly open the camera app, capture photos, record videos, and zoom in and out. It also manages other functions like exposure, depth, and field control.
To power the new AI features, the series is equipped with the specially designed A18 chip, which boosts performance and extends battery life. The iPhone 16 comes with a 48-megapixel dual-camera system, and its telephoto lens supports 2x optical zoom. The iPhone 16 Pro also features 2x zoom capability. The company claims that the iPhone 16 can support up to 27 hours of continuous video playback, while the iPhone 16 Pro can last up to 33 hours.
