Rain likely at some places in hilly regions of five provinces

KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 17 : The weather will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, including Madhes and Lumbini provinces.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology reports that the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy skies. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, hilly regions will see partly to generally cloudy conditions this afternoon, while other areas will remain partly cloudy.

There is a chance of light to moderate rain in one or two places across Gandaki, Koshi, Bagmati, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim provinces, with light rain likely in one or two places in these areas.
