KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 10: The foundation stone for the Pathibhara Cable Car was officially laid last Friday (Nov. 8) in Taplejung. It will provide access to the renowned religious site, Pathibhara Temple in the district.

Indra Kedem, head of Himalaya Construction, the company overseeing the project, stated that the event was attended by representatives from various political parties and a large number of locals, who participated with chants in praise of Goddess Pathibhara.

“All political representatives from the district, including honorable members, the mayor, and other public officials, were present. The work will now proceed at a rapid pace,” Kedem remarked.

Mayor Amir Maden highlighted that the Pathibhara Cable Car is not just a project for one company but is integral to the economic, social, and cultural development of Taplejung. He expressed optimism that the project would serve as a catalyst for economic growth in both Taplejung and the entire Koshi Province. Maden also called for support from all stakeholders to accelerate the construction.
