21st handicraft trade fair to take place on Dec. 5-9
A platform for industrialists and entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge, enhance their skills,etc.
KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 12: The 21st Handicraft Trade Fair and the 19th Handicraft Competition are set to take place in Kathmandu from December 5 to 9, aimed at promoting the national and international market for handicrafts made by Nepali artisans, industrialists, and sculptors.
The events are being organized by the Nepal Handicrafts Federation with support from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, and the Trade and Exports Promotion Centre.
Fair coordinator Dilli Ratna Tuladhar shared that the fair would provide a platform for industrialists and entrepreneurs to exchange knowledge, enhance their skills in handicraft design, and engage with both national and international customers.
In the competition, the winners will receive cash prizes: Rs 50,000 for first place, Rs 30,000 for second place, and Rs 20,000 for third place.
Federation Chairman Prachanda Shakya also mentioned that international guests have been invited to attend the fair.
