Universal Power Company earns around Rs 7.50 million

KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 17: Universal Power Company Limited has published its financial statement for the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
According to the report, the company earned a profit of Rs 7.48 million in the first quarter, reflecting a 30.42% increase compared to Rs 5.73 million in the same period last year. The growth in profit is attributed to higher revenue and reduced financial costs in the current fiscal year.
The total revenue has risen by 4.12% compared to the previous year. Last year, the company reported revenue of Rs 12.01 million, while this year it has increased to Rs 12.5 million. In addition, the company’s financial expenses have decreased from Rs 4.14 million last year to Rs 2.64 million in the current fiscal year.
The earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs 13.13 (annualized), with a net worth per share of Rs 109.71. The company’s paid-up capital is Rs 2.27 billion. As of the first quarter, the company has accumulated a reserve fund of Rs 22.13 million.
