Finance Minister Paudel pledges to promote atmosphere for investment

BHAIRAWAHA, NOVEMBER 5: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, has committed to fostering a more conducive environment for investment, even if it requires amending existing laws.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Ninth Lumbini National Trade Fair - 2081 BS in Bhairahawa today, Minister Paudel encouraged the business community to remain optimistic, emphasizing that Nepal's economy has shown signs of improvement in recent times.
He assured that the current government is dedicated to addressing economic challenges and revitalizing the nation's economy. He also highlighted the government's commitment to bolstering the private sector's confidence.
Referring to the Bhairahawa-based Gautam Buddha International Airport as a project of national pride, he urged stakeholders to have faith in its operations. He acknowledged the need for further infrastructure development to enable the airport to operate at full capacity.
Additionally, the Minister expressed his vision of transforming Bhairahawa into a prosperous and advanced city. The trade fair will continue until December 16.
