Kathmandu experiences further chill
Minimum temperature goes down to 3.9 degree Celsius

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 12: The Kathmandu Valley has experienced a continuous drop in temperature, and meteorologists predict that this trend will persist. Despite the declining temperatures, the weather is expected to remain fair.
Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini reported that the minimum temperature this morning was recorded at 3.9 degrees Celsius, which has now risen slightly to 4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature is forecasted to range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius today. Sunrise occurred at 6:45 AM, and sunset is expected at 5:10 PM.
According to the daily weather bulletin from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while it remains fair in other parts of the country.
Foggy conditions are likely in many areas of the Terai region and the Kathmandu Valley, with smog affecting certain parts. Additionally, the Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated that the mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will experience partial cloud cover during the day. Tonight, similar conditions are expected in some areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Gandaki, Lumbini, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces.
In light of the foggy conditions expected on Friday morning in the Terai region and the Valley, the Department has advised residents to take necessary precautionary measures.
