Koirala elected unopposed to lead NBA

KATHMANDU, DECEMBER 18: Santosh Koirala has been elected unanimously as the president of the Nepal Bankers' Association (NBA), the umbrella organization of bankers. The association's 38th annual general meeting held today picked him for handling the very position.
Similarly, the meeting selected unopposed Surendra Raj Regmi, the CEO of Global IME Bank, as the vice president. The newly elected executive committee also includes Ashok Sherchan (CEO of Prabhu Bank), Nischal Raj Pandey (CEO of Sanima Bank), Sanjiv Manandhar (CEO of Prime Commercial Bank), Sundar Prasad Kandel (CEO of Siddhartha Bank), Ram Chandra Khanal (CEO of Kumari Bank), Sudesh Khaling (CEO of Everest Bank), and Tilak Raj Pandey (CEO of Nepal Bank).
Additionally, the outgoing president, Sunil KC, will serve as an ex-officio member of the executive committee. Former presidents- Ashok Rana and Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana- were appointed as advisors to the committee, according to the association.
