12 contractors blacklisted by PPMO

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 2: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) has blacklisted 12 contractor companies and suppliers. In a notice issued today, the PPMO announced the blacklisting, effective from Wednesday, based on written statements from various public agencies and bodies.
Under Section 63(1) of the Public Procurement Act, 2063 BS, these companies are now barred from participating in any procurement or bidding processes for a period ranging from one to three years.
The blacklisted entities include 12 public bodies, such as the Transport Infrastructure Directorate in Phidim, Panchthar, Nepal Telecom Central Office, the Department of Roads in Chaurjahari, Rukum West, the Federal Road Supervision and Monitoring Office, and the Nepal Forest Corporation Limited.
