Illegal vapes worth Rs 500 mllion seized in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 9: The Department of Revenue Investigation has seized a large quantity of illegal vapes from Imadol, Lalitpur. An investigation officer from the department informed that these vapes, which were illegally imported from China, were seized on Wednesday.
According to the department, the estimated market value of the seized vapes is around 500 million rupees.
It has been revealed that Ramesh Sherpa and Tribhvan Sah, also known as Pawan Sah, illegally imported these vapes from China. Both individuals are currently at large and a search is underway to apprehend them.
The department has stated that legal proceedings have been initiated regarding this incident.
