Nabil Bank recognised with ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 12 : Nabil Bank Limited has received the internationally recognized ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management. The certification was awarded by the globally recognized international organization, Intersert ISO 27001:2022. This achievement reflects the bank’s commitment to data security and the protection of sensitive information, as stated by the Bank.
The certificate was handed over at a ceremony held at the Bank's head office. The certification confirms that the institution has effectively implemented its security measures, following a thorough evaluation by the certifying organization.
Nabil Bank received this recognition after a detailed assessment of its security systems, practices, and controls. It claims that this certification underscores its serious commitment to security, especially in the face of growing cyber risks and challenges.
Nabil Bank's CEO, Gyanendra Prasad Dhungana, stated that this certification acknowledges the bank's data security quality. He mentioned, “We prioritize the security of our customers’ data. This certification acknowledges our continuous efforts to improve security measures. We are also committed to ongoing improvements in this process.”
