Gold, silver prices up

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 17: Gold and silver prices have risen in the local market. Gold increased by NPR 1,300 per tola, while silver went up by NPR 50 per tola.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, gold, which was traded at NPR 156,600 per tola on Thursday, is now being bought and sold at NPR 157,900 per tola.

Similarly, silver is now priced at NPR 1,880 per tola in the local market, reflecting a rise of NPR 50 per tola.
