Conference on Non-Performing Loan Management on Jan. 27 in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 17: A one-day conference on the Management of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) will take place on January 27 in Kathmandu, organized by Kathmandu Fintech.
The conference will feature Ramesh Kumar Mahalian, former Recovery Manager of Bank of Baroda and former judge of the Indian Debt Recovery Tribunal, presenting a paper to share his professional insights.
In addition, prominent Nepali banking experts, including Parshuram Kunwar Chhetri, Ajay Shrestha, Pradyuman Pokharel, and Manoj Gyawali, are scheduled to deliver presentations on key aspects of NPL management.
The event also plans to host former Finance Secretary of Nepal, Rameshwor Khanal, who will provide an in-depth analysis of critical issues related to non-performing loans. Discussions shall extend to the role of technology in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of NPL management.
The conference aims to serve as a platform for exchanging national and international best practices, fostering dialogue on innovative solutions and integrating technology to address the challenges posed by NPLs.
