Hyundai Creta EV to be unveiled by February End
It offers battery efficiency of 8 km/kWh and comes in two variants

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 22 : Hyundai has announced that the highly anticipated Hyundai Creta EV will be available in Nepal by the end of February. The launch will be accompanied by an exclusive interaction event for customers.
The Creta EV offers battery efficiency of 8 km/kWh and comes in two variants: the 42kWh introductory version with a real-world range of 300-330 km in Nepal, and the 52kWh long-range variant with a range of 390-420 km. Designed for Nepal’s terrain, it features 200mm ground clearance and high torque delivery, ensuring smooth performance on various road conditions, the company says.
With advanced safety features like ADAS and regenerative braking, the Creta EV is also equipped for cold weather with a battery heating system. According to the company, the charging is quick, with 11kW AC home charging fully charging the vehicle in just 4 hours, along with access to an expanding fast-charging network.
Offering premium features like ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and advanced infotainment, the Creta EV is both practical and eco-friendly, with nearly 70% of its manufacturing localized in India. The upcoming launch of the vehicle reportedly aligns with Nepal’s sustainable mobility goals, setting a new benchmark in the EV market.
