KATHMANDU, JANUARY 23: The NEPSE index, a key indicator of stock market performance, decreased by 11.10 points today, representing a 0.41% decline, and closed at 2,654.35 points. Share prices rose for 86 companies, declined for 150 companies, and remained unchanged for 7 companies.
The day witnessed a total of 84,700 transactions, with a trading volume of 15.1 million shares, amounting to a turnover of NPR 7.85 billion.
Out of the 13 sub-indices, only the Development Banks and Manufacturing & Processing sectors recorded gains, while all other sub-sectors experienced a decline.
