Health Minister pledges to raise insurance coverage to Rs 500,000

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 27: Health Minister Pradeep Paudel announced plans to increase the current health insurance coverage from Rs 100,000 to Rs 500,000. Speaking at a program yesterday, he stated, "I will arrange Rs 500,000 for health insurance to help patients in need tangibly."
The minister emphasized implementing an integrated, one-door system for insurance services to streamline benefits for patients.
