Gold price drops by Rs 900 per tola

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 28: The price of gold has slightly decreased in the local market today. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of hallmark gold has dropped by NPR 900 per tola compared to Monday.
Today, the price of one tola of hallmark gold is set at NPR 159,200, as per the Federation. On Monday, the same quantity of gold was traded at NPR 160,100.
Similarly, the price of silver, which was NPR 1,850 per tola on Monday, has decreased by NPR 15 and is now being traded at NPR 1,835, according to the Federation.
