Weather to remain mainly fair throughout country

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 3: Currently, there is no significant weather system affecting the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, hilly and mountainous regions will experience mainly fair weather today. Meanwhile, most areas of the Tarai region are under foggy conditions, but fair weather is expected across the country by the afternoon.

Partly cloudy conditions are likely in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, while the rest of the country will see mainly fair weather, the Division reported.

Fog in many parts of Madhes and Koshi provinces is expected to gradually clear from the afternoon. The Division has also urged the public to take necessary precautions, as fog may impact daily life, agriculture, health, transportation, and flights.
