HoR passes Secured Transaction (first amendment) Bill, 2025

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 10: The House of Representatives has unanimously passed the Secured Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2025.
During today's session, Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the bill's unopposed endorsement. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel had presented the bill for approval.
He assured the House that the government remains committed to its implementation. Additionally, the amendments outlined in Finance Committee Reports 1 and 2 were also passed unanimously.
The House of Representatives will reconvene tomorrow at 1:00 PM.
