Five candidates shortlisted for chairperson of Nepal Insurance Authority

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 17 : Five candidates have been shortlisted for the position of Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority. In a meeting held on Sunday, the recommendation committee submitted the list of five names to the Government of Nepal.
The shortlisted candidates are Kamal Prasad Regmi, Chiranjivi Chapagai, Damodar Basoula, Ram Sharan Pudasaini, and Sharad Ojha.
Regmi is currently a Director at the Authority, while Chapagai is a former Chairperson of the Authority. Basoula is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Nepal Health Insurance Board, and Pudasaini is a former Secretary who is currently serving as the Chairperson of the Agriculture Development Bank. Ojha is a former journalist.
Their interviews are scheduled for February 22. A total of 12 candidates had applied for the position of Chairperson.
