Over 2,000 trademarks registered in six months

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 27:In the first six months of the current fiscal year, more than 2,000 trademarks have been registered. According to the Ministry of Industry, a total of 2,034 trademarks for goods and services were registered during the review period.
The ministry further stated that legal proceedings for 57 trademark-related cases were settled during this period.
The government has already implemented the Trademark, Patent, and Design Registration Management Information System, enabling the registration of trademarks through an online system.
