6.1 ML earthquake jolts Sindhupalchowk, surrounding districts

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 28: A 6.1 local magnitude (ML) earthquake struck Bhairabkunda in Sindhupalchowk district early this morning, as confirmed by the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center. The tremor, recorded at 2:51 AM, was felt in Kathmandu, nearby districts, and parts of eastern and southern Nepal.
As of now, there are no reports of significant damage or casualties. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and assess any potential aftereffects.
