Cathay Pacific to operate daily flight on Kathmandu-Hong Kong route

KATHMANDU, MARCH 5 : Cathay Pacific Airlines will operate a daily flight between Kathmandu and Hong Kong starting March 31. Currently, the Hong Kong-based flag carrier operates five flights per week on this route.
Junu Malekhu, Country Head of Cathay Pacific Airlines in Nepal, stated that the airline is increasing its flight frequency from five times a week to daily service to better accommodate passengers traveling to Nepal and connecting to other destinations via Hong Kong.
Speaking at a program organized by the airline in Kathmandu last Tuesday to honor top cargo and travel companies, Malekhu attributed the increase in flight frequency to the strong support from these sectors.
Additionally, Rakesh Raicar, Cathay Pacific's Regional General Manager for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, announced that the airline plans to expand to more destinations in 2025.
