Batas Tractors holds conference of hydro-related customers

KATHMANDU, MARCH 9: Batas Tractors Pvt. Ltd., the official dealer of Caterpillar heavy equipment in Nepal, successfully organized a conference at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu, focusing on customers from the hydro segment. More than 50 esteemed clients from the hydropower industry participated in the event  last Friday ( Mar. 7)

The program showcased the "exceptional capabilities" of Caterpillar machinery and its efficiency, innovation, and effectiveness in hydropower projects.

Deepak Jolly, the head of Gainwell Commosalles India, Caterpillar’s principal company,  said that Caterpillar outperforms other similar heavy equipment companies, particularly in the area of Nepal’s hydropower construction.  He expressed gratitude to all customers for their trust and support, for this acheivement.

Dipendra Malla, executive director of Batas Tractors, stated that the company is committed to strengthening customer relationships and demonstrating the latest advancements in construction and hydropower technology.

A key highlight of the event was the key handover ceremony for recently purchased Caterpillar machinery. Companies such as High Himalaya Hydro Construction, Fewa Construction, Bhugol Infrastructure, Siuri Nyadi, and Bandhan Bhagwati Nirman Sewa were among the recipients.

Anand Jha, sales head of Gainwell Commosales India, provided detailed insights into the technical features and cost efficiency of Caterpillar machinery, including models such as the 320D3 G, 20-ton, 23-ton, and 25-ton excavators, backhoe loaders, and motor graders.

The event’s main attraction was the GC Series machinery, which was highlighted as a game-changer for hydropower projects. Mukul Dixit, sales and managing director of Gainwell Commosales India, stated that the GC Series has already proven itself by bringing revolutionary changes to the heavy equipment industry in India.

Caterpillar has been offering 24/7 service and spare parts support. The company also provides advanced solutions such as dismantling and helicopter lifting for transporting machinery to remote locations, as stated by representatives of Caterpillar’s service provider, Tractors Nepal.
