Laminar Tiles unveils Nepal’s first exclusive flagship experience centre in Kathmandu
Spread across 4,000 square feet, the centre displays over 400 international-standard designs (classified into seven major collections)

KATHMANDU, MAY 5: Nepal’s first and only 100% vitrified tile brand, Laminar Tiles, has officially launched its exclusive flagship Experience Centre in Gairidhara, Kathmandu.
The Centre was inaugurated today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, in a special ceremony. According to the company, the Centre is now open to homeowners, renovators, builders, engineers, interior designers, and anyone with an interest in tiles and construction materials.
Designed to showcase all collections produced by Laminar Tiles under one roof, the Centre offers visitors a first-hand experience of the latest innovations in Nepali tile technology. Located in front of Uttar Dhoka, Gairidhara, the Experience Centre aims to present a blend of design inspiration and product excellence.
Speaking at the event, Minister Singh emphasized the importance of using domestic products. “I urge everyone to use Laminar vitrified tiles—whether it’s for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, commercial buildings, or private residences,” he said.
Spread across 4,000 square feet, the Centre displays over 400 international-standard designs, classified into seven major collections. It offers tailored solutions for the following areas:
-
Interior walls and flooring of homes and commercial buildings
-
High-footfall zones such as shopping malls, hotels, educational institutions, and airports
-
Wet and outdoor areas, including rooftops, balconies, pools, and bathrooms
-
Exterior applications such as cladding, facades, driveways, and parking areas
The Centre features fully vitrified tiles with water absorption of less than 0.08%, ensuring high strength, long-lasting durability, stain resistance, and sustainable aesthetic appeal.
“This Centre is unlike a traditional showroom—it is a destination for design inspiration and a bold testament to innovation in Nepal,” said Laminar Tiles Chairman Mr. Dhitale. “Our Experience Centre represents Laminar’s commitment to world-class quality, sustainable local production, and design-focused thinking.”
Laminar Tiles is manufactured by Lumbini Ceramics Ltd. at its state-of-the-art facility in Gulariya, Bardiya, spread across 14 bighas. The factory has a daily production capacity of over 140,000 square feet.
