Shankar Group denies rumors of Hilton Hotel purchase by Deuba

KATHMANDU, MAY 11: Following the reports about Jaivir Deuba, purchasing the Hilton Hotel, Shankar Group has issued a statement refuting the claims. He is the son of former prime minister-cum-Nepali Congress president Sher Bhadur Deuba and Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba. The group clarified that there is no truth to the news published by certain media outlets regarding Jaivir's alleged acquisition of the hotel.
In a joint press release issued on Sunday by the group, it stated that the hotel is not up for sale, and there has been no discussion regarding its sale.
Calling the reports misleading, it announced that they would seek legal recourse against the dissemination of such false information.
