Govt. to facilitate private sector to build charging stations

KATHMANDU, MAY 29: While presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel announced that the government will introduce a policy to promote electric vehicles (EVs).
To support this, the private sector will be facilitated in building charging stations. Additionally, the government plans to advance policies for operating smart public transportation and will establish a Public Transport Authority.
