Ncell launches 'League of Creators'

The initiative aims to empower Nepal’s next generation of digital content creators

KATHMANDU, JUNE 1: Ncell, in collaboration with Uptrendly, has announced the launch of League of Creators—a dynamic, nationwide initiative designed to discover and empower Nepal’s next generation of digital content creators.

Under the rallying call “Create. Compete. Conquer.”, this multi-phase competition offers aspiring creators a unique platform to showcase their talent around the theme “My Network, My Connectivity”, gain nationwide recognition, and win exclusive rewards, including a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs. 10 lakhs.

Selected participants will also have the rare opportunity to receive personal training from Nepal’s top content creators—Sanjog Koirala, Pratima Adhikari, Mr. Foodie Nepal, Parakram Rana, and Ekata Tandukar—who will serve as mentors throughout the program.

“This is more than just a contest; it’s a creative development journey combining mentorship, hands-on workshops, real-world exposure, high-stakes challenges, and exciting rewards. Through this initiative, we aim to empower the next generation of Nepali digital content creators by providing them with the tools, knowledge, and visibility needed to inspire change through impactful content, said Punam Singh, Director of Marketing Communications and Sustainability at Ncell.  "As part of Nepal’s digital ecosystem, we are committed to nurturing talent and driving transformation.”

Registration for the League of Creators opens Friday, May 30, 2025, and is open to all Nepali content creators aged 16 and above, regardless of prior experience.

To enter, participants must submit a 30–90-second vertical video exploring personal or emotional interpretations of connectivity. Videos must be posted on both TikTok and Instagram, tagging @Ncell and using the designated mentor hashtags (e.g., #TeamSanjog) along with #NcellLeagueOfCreators2025 in the caption. The submission deadline is June 10, 2025.

From the nationwide pool of submissions, the top 50 creators will be selected by the mentors for advanced training and mentorship. Divided into five mentor-led teams, these creators will participate in workshops at Ncell ICON, tackle creative challenges, and be evaluated by a jury of industry experts.

The competition will culminate in the Grand Finale Carnival on June 28, 2025, where the overall winner will be announced. The event will also feature live entertainment and a celebration of top performers.

The winner will receive a one-year brand deal with Ncell worth Rs. 10 lakhs, while all finalists will benefit from professional training, nationwide exposure, and valuable networking opportunities. Industry leaders from Ncell and the U.S. Embassy will guide and evaluate the creators throughout the campaign.

The entry is free, and the participants must be based in Nepal during the course of the campaign.
