"Nepal Impact Investment Forum 2025 "to kick off tomorrow

KATHMANDU, JUNE 2: With an aim to help increase foreign investment in Nepal, the "Nepal Impact Investment Forum 2025" is set to begin on Tuesday in Kathmandu. The announcement was made during a press conference held in the capital on Monday. The second edition of the forum will take place from June 3 to 5. It will feature 14 participating institutions from the development finance and impact investment sectors.
The first edition of the forum, held last year, featured representatives from eight development finance institutions.
The forum plays a vital role in bringing together global development finance institutions and impact investors to explore opportunities in Nepal. It offers a platform for participants to assess the foreign investment landscape, engage with government and regulatory bodies, and build connections with potential investors.
A notable addition to this year’s forum is the inclusion of the alternative investment industry. The event is being organized by Invest for Impact Nepal, in partnership with the Nepal Bankers’ Association and the Nepal Private Equity Association.
The Nepal Impact Investment Forum 2025 aims to serve as a facilitation platform for both investors and investees, helping to boost the flow of foreign capital into Nepal. It offers strategic opportunities to build sustainable partnerships, align investor interests with national priorities, and pave the way for long-term investments.
This collaborative initiative emphasizes innovation and seeks to deepen Nepal’s integration into the global investment ecosystem.
