Nepal-India Trade Fair on June 5 to 9 in Baitadi

BAITADI, JUNE 3: Preparations are underway for the Nepal-India International Trade Fair 2082, scheduled to be held from June 5 to 9 at the Dehimadau Sports Ground in Dasharathchand Municipality-2 of the district.
The fair is being organized by Dasharathchand Municipality with the support of the Foreign Trade and Export Promotion Center and is managed by Gwallek Media Group Pvt. Ltd., according to Rajendra Bista, Information Officer of the Municipality.
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari is scheduled to inaugurate the fair, while Bishan Singh Chuphal, a member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly of India, will attend as a special guest at the opening ceremony.
Mayor Pushkar Raj Joshi stated that the fair aims to promote domestic industries and businesses, expand national and international markets for Nepali products and services, attract foreign investment and technology, and establish business relations between domestic and international investors.
The event will include participation from business chambers of both Nepal and India, along with cultural performances by artists from both countries. Local products from both sides will also be exhibited.
Special priority has been given to promoting local art, culture, traditional attire, and trade. Entry to the fair is free of charge.
