The British College and Krirk University forge five-year academic partnership

KATHMANDU, JUNE 8: In a significant step toward strengthening international academic ties, The British College (TBC), Kathmandu, and Krirk University, Bangkok, have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote long-term collaboration in research, academic exchange, and institutional development.
The MoU signing ceremony took place last Friday at The British College, in the presence of Mr. Mahendra Raj Kandel, Executive Director of TBC. Representing Krirk University were Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of International Affairs, and Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Shakya, Head of Marketing for South Asia. The agreement was formally witnessed by Mr. Ganesh Paudyal, Head of the TBC Incubation Centre.
This partnership, as has been said, marks the beginning of a promising academic engagement between the two institutions. It paves the way for a wide range of collaborative initiatives, including joint research projects, student and faculty exchange programs, co-hosted academic events, and joint applications for international research funding.
Both institutions reaffirmed their shared commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and global engagement.The MoU will remain in effect for five years, with provisions for renewal and expansion based on mutual interests and strategic priorities.
