The office will support driver assistance, skill development, community and safety-focused campaigns, etc

KATHMANDU, JUNE 9: inDrive, one of Nepal’s leading ride-hailing platforms, has officially launched its new office in Kathmandu. This strategic expansion reinforces our long-term commitment to its local driver partners, the enhancement of service quality across the city, and deeper engagement with the community it serves, according to the company.
The newly established office will serve as a central hub for a wide range of initiatives aimed at empowering inDrive’s driver partners and improving the overall user experience. According to the company, the Kathmandu office will support various functions, including driver assistance, skill development through training programs, community and safety-focused campaigns, and localized marketing and partnership initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the Nepali market.
Speaking at the launch, Mark Tole, Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region at inDrive, emphasized that the new facility is more than just a physical workspace. “This is a place where our driver partners will receive the support, guidance, and training they need to thrive. We want them to feel that they are a vital part of inDrive,” he said. “This center is designed to empower their success and make them feel truly connected to our mission.”
The office will host regular training sessions to help drivers improve their professional capabilities and deliver high-quality service. Additionally, drivers facing issues or wishing to consult directly with the inDrive team will have access to in-person support at the facility.
This expansion signals inDrive’s strong and enduring commitment to the Nepali market. With its fair pricing model and user-centric approach, inDrive has quickly gained popularity among both riders and drivers. Its rapid rise in Nepal is a reflection of its ability to understand and respond to local needs, positioning the platform as a trusted and preferred choice for urban mobility. The company sees this new office as part of its broader mission to contribute to the development of a sustainable and inclusive transportation ecosystem in the country.
Rita Pokhrel, Director of inDrive Nepal, noted that the establishment of the Kathmandu office is not merely an infrastructural milestone, but a symbol of the trust and collaboration that inDrive has built with its driver community. “We have always prioritized open communication with our drivers—listening carefully to their feedback, understanding their needs, and addressing their challenges,” she said.
She added, “This culture of dialogue has helped make inDrive a platform that drivers feel truly belongs to them. The new office stands as a clear testament to that commitment. It will be a space where drivers can access essential support, training, and opportunities. More importantly, it will be a place where their voices are heard, their growth is nurtured, and their role in inDrive’s journey is valued.”
With the opening of its Kathmandu office, inDrive aims to further strengthen its relationship with the local community and continue to build a platform that reflects the needs and aspirations of the people of Nepal.
