“There is need of accurate analysis of economic data”

KATHMANDU, MARCH 12: Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, Maha Prasad Adhikari has pointed out the need to analyse the economic statistics/information in an accurate and proper fashion. He did so while inaugurating a 2-day training program for journalists on the economy/finance today in Kavre.
“The data on the economy are naturally complex and technical. As such, it is simply necessary for the related media personnel to present them to common people in an easily comprehensible manner,” he said.
Urging the participants of the program to fully exploit it for their professional benefits, Adhikari, he opined that the central bank would also learn vital things from training-related events. The training is being participated by 39 financial journalists who will be trained on 9 different topics on economy/finance.
In association with the Nepal Association of Financial Journalists (NAFIS), the NRB is organising this training program.
