Salt Trading Corporation’s profit up by over 90 percent

KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 16: Salt Trading Corporation (STC) has made a profit of Rs 35.8 million in the first six months of the current fiscal. The profit figure is a whopping 90.16 per cent more compared to that of the same period last year.
During the review period, the increase in the sales revenue to Rs 6.61 billion helped the STC to make more profit. From mid-July to mid-January of 2022/23, the sales revenue had been recorded at Rs 3.45 billion.
From mid-July to mid-January of 2023/24, the Earnings Per Share (EPS) and the Net Worth Per Share of the STC stood at Rs 25.69 and Rs 419.35 respectively.
The current paid-up capital of the entity amounts to Rs 278.8 million.
