NAC pays over Rs 530 million as monthly installment

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 16: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has paid the monthly instalment worth over Rs 530 million to the Employees Provident Fund and Citizen Investment Fund. “We paid Rs 530 million 954 thousand to these two institutions for the loans borrowed to buy two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft,” says Ramesh Poudel, spokesperson of the NAC.
The said amount covers the total instalment amount of the 2 narrow-body aircraft and the partial instalment amount of 2 wide-body aeroplanes for the last Nepali month of Poush.
In the last 16 months, the national flag carrier has paid a total of Rs 4.83 billion to the Employees Provident Fund and Citizen Investment Fund as monthly instalments
