Himalayan Airlines recognisd with IOSA certificate

KATHMANDU, JANUARY 10: The Himalayan Airlines has recently received an International Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate from the International Air Transport Association (IATA). It is the first Nepali airline company to be recognised with such a certificate for upgrading its safety standards as per the set international norms.
. In a press conference here yesterday, the Airlines’ Vice-Chairperson, Bijay Shrestha, said that this was not only an achievement of his company but also of the aviation sector of the country as a whole.
A joint venture of Nepal and China, the Airline was established in 2014 and operates flights in major countries in the Middle East and South Asia such as the UAE, Malaysia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bangladesh and five major cities in China including Beijing with its four aircraft.
