One nabbed with Rs 8 million without verified source

Kathmandu, Oct 21. Police have arrested a person with eight million rupees without verified source from Lokanthali, Bhaktapur. Police nabbed Chitra Bahadur Pun Magar, 36, of Galkot municipality-10, currently living at Koteshwor of Kathmandu, with the amount on Wednesday night.
A team deputed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi, reached near BP Eye Foundation, Lokanthali after being informed that Hundi transaction was taking place there and took Chitra Bahadur under control.
Police seized a scooter (Ba 49 Pa-8565) and three million rupees cash from Chitra Bahadur and additional five million rupees was also impounded while conducting a search at his room, according to the Police Headquarters. He has been sent to Department of Money Laundering Investigation, Lalitpur, for necessary action, added police.
