Kathmandu: Two new cars from world famous car company Volkswagen has lunched in Nepal Thursday. The authorized distributor of world famous Volkswagen car, Pooja International Nepal Pvt. Ltd., has launched the new Tiguan amongst a press conference today.
Launched as a compact SUV in 2007, the Tiguan had immediate acceptance worldwide and was launched in 2010 in Nepal. According to the distributor, till date more than 350 Tiguans have been sold in Nepal. Based on the modern MQB platform, the Volkswagen New Tiguan is powered with an efficient 2.0L TSI and TDI engine mated to a supple 7 speed automatic-DSG gear box, the New Tiguan delivers peak power of 180 PS/132 kW and 320 Nm of torque and 105KW/150PS power r with 340 Nm of torque respectively.
