AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE (AMCHAM) IN NEPAL LAUNCHES WEBSITE

Kathmandu, March 29 . The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Nepal formally launched their website in Kathmandu with the presence of their founding members. The website, www.amchamnepal.com, will host information regarding the Nepal chapter of AmCham including its mission, objectives, events, and membership information.

During the event, the chairperson of AmCham Nepal, Mr. Ajit Shah, briefed the members and the potential members about AmCham Nepal.

AmCham chapters exist worldwide and are members of the United States Chamber of Commerce, a voluntary not-for-profit organization that contributes to economic development through the promotion of United States’ companies and products.

In Nepal, the start of AmCham Nepal was formally announced in November with the presence of Assistant Secretary of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) Don Lu and SCA Deputy Assistant Secretary Kelly Keiderling along with the initial 13 founding members from Nepal with the objective to encourage economic activities in Nepal by promoting and increasing bilateral business and investments between the two countries.
