Bridge built over Lo Manthang River

MYAGDI, FEBRUARY 23: A motorable bridge over Lo Manthang River along the Kaligandaki corridor in Upper Mustang has been constructed. With the construction of the bridge, the road network along the Beni-Jomsom-Korola has become more accessible.

Developers involved in the bridge construction shared that the bridge developed with the investment of Rs 46.8 million can be run in all seasons.

Information Officer of Beni-Jomsom-Korola Road Project Engineer Bishnu Chapagain said the bridge was handed over to the concerned side after the completion.

According to Chapagain, a total of six motorable bridges have been constructed along the 202 kms long road from Beni to Korola.

The Project has signed contract agreements with different companies for the construction of five more bridges allocating Rs 316.2 million in budget along the route.
