Kathmandu, Feb 8 . The police today arrested Everest Hotel Chairman Mashkoor Ahmad Lari, who was on the run in a hashish smuggling case, from Maharajgunj in Kathmandu.
Preparations were underway to present him in the Supreme Court today itself, said Deputy Inspector General Ganesh KC.
In 1997, a huge cache of hashish was confiscated from Frankfurt Airport in Germany involving Lari.
