Cabinet Reshuffle: Three new entry
Kathmandu, Oct 14. President Bidya Devi Bhandari has reshuffled the Council of Ministers upon the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday. PM Oli made recommendation for new ministers and fulfillment in the vacant ministerial posts in line with Clause 99 of Article 76 of the Constitution of Nepal.
According to a press statement issued by the Office of the President, PM Oli has himself taken the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense while Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel has been given responsibility to look after the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Similarly, Bishnu Poudel has been appointed as the Finance Minister while Krishna Gopal Shrestha the Minister for Urban Development and Leelanath Shrestah the Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens. Parbat Gurung has been given new responsibility of Minister for Communications and Information Technology. There is no change of responsibility in other ministries.
