Prabhu Bank Launches a Product “Foreign Employment Loan”

 Kathmandu, Jan 28.  Prabhu Bank has launched the product “Foreign Employment Loan” at Province 2 for 5 specific districts (Bara, Parsa, Rautahat, Saptari and Sarlahi) under the UKaid सीप (Skills For Employment Programme) project “Enhancing Overseas Nepalese (migrants) And Their Families Access To Finance”.

With this product launching event, Mr. Mani Ram Pokhrel, Chief Business Officer, Prabhu Bank Limited and Mr. Baljit Vohra, Team Leader of सीप have endeavored to facilitate the migrant workers originating from Province 2 with access to a reasonable cost of borrowing.

This product from Prabhu Bank will not only ease the migrant workers access to finance at home but will also make the repayment facilities much easier from abroad through the banking channel. Thus, the bank believes, will increase the net income and saving of the migrants and their family members which will improve their capability for entrepreneurship and a sustainable income.
