Case filed against three including Lamichhane

Chitwan, August 25 . A case has been registered against Rabi Lamichhane, Yubraj Kandel and Asmita Karki (Ruku), who have been arrested over the death of a journalist Shalikram Pudasaini, at the District Court, Chitwan. District Attorney Office, Chitwan, filed a case against Lamichhane, Kandel and Karki on Sunday afternoon.
Records Keeper at the District Court, Chitwan, Rudramani Giri, said that recording of the statement with Asmita has been concluded while statement would be taken with the remaining two from 10:00 am on Monday. The case was filed at the bench of District Judge, Hemant Rawal. Journalist Pudasaini was found dead hanging in a hotel at Narayangadh on August 5.
Police had arrested Lamichhane, Kandel and Karki from Kathmandu on August 15 after Pudasaini mentioned their names, saying they compelled him to commit suicide in a video clip that he recorded before committing suicide. They have remanded to custody at the District Police Office, Chitwan.
