4.0 magnitude tremor jolts Solukhumbu

Kathmandu, August 22. Earthquake measuring 4.0 in Richter scale took place in Solukhumbu this morning. The earthquake with epicenter in Goli of the district occurred at 7.07am, according to the Department of Mines and Geology, National Seismological Centre.
Centre’s Lokbijaya Adhikari confirmed that it was not an aftershock but a quake. A week ago too, quake measuring 4.7 in Richter scale shook Myagdi district.
